Protocol for Team Recommendations

Newark Archdiocesan Cursillo Movement

1.)  Ideally, the Newark movement would like to see its team developed through use of its Leaders School. Requiring members of the School ensures that they receive proper formation and that they are leaders in all phases of the movement.

2.)  Not being able to fulfil this desire, the movement will then look to its. communities to fill the required need.

3.) The Secretariat will call upon all Cursillistas to consider this challenge.

4.)  Each Cursillista should consider those people they know who may qualify for team selection by focusing on these criteria:

A.) Are they in Group Reunion?

B.) Do they attend local or Archdiocesan Ultreyas?

C.) Are they a member of The School of Leaders?

D.) Have they been on team before?

E.) If not in group reunion, would they consider getting into a group?

5.)  Develop yourself a list of people who you think fit the desired requirements and pray about contacting these people.

6.)  From this list and using Personal Contact as your tool, contact two people Personally by phone or visit and discus this idea with them.

7.)  Should the person show an interest, submit their name, address and phone number to the Newark Cursillo Weekend Section Chairperson.

8.)  The Chairperson will then issue a Potential Team Member Questionnaire” to the Prospective candidate for completion and evaluation.

Through this process it is the Newark Cursillo Movement’s intent to develop teams that will truly present the movement’s purpose and desire, which is to Evangelize the World for Christ.
