The Following is a list of the Surf Tournaments which will be held in the upcoming
months.
These tournaments will be attended to and participated by the HRFA and it's individual
members. Some are restricted to the official HRFA surf fishing teams. To find
out more about these activities, members should contact HRFA Director Carl Hartmann
Some of these events are organized by A.S.A.C.

Penfield Reef Trip: Sept. 12th 2004
11:30am meet at the Reef-Fairfield, CT, High tide 10:25A.M.
We walk out on a sand bar that extends out on the Long Island sound for a mile and a haft
you will enjoy the walk because we are fishing our way out to the end throwing plugs and
metal. In the pasted we have caught plenty of blues and strippers. This location is also
very good for Fly Rodders, also bring along your rain gear and high booths. For more info

| Report! Within an hour of the It was only minutes after setting up that the first striper hit. I grabbed the bouncing rod and proceeded to land a keeper bass measuring 25 1/2 inches. Shortly thereafter, a series of shorty striper landings had anglers from the left and right coming over to spy our bait of choice.
