vain, selfish & lazy.

fred solinger is unemployed, and his resume is viewable here. that being said, fred loves all kinds of music which makes his current unemployed state all the more unbearable; free samples are not only encouraged but are really begged for (very much a proud man, he therefore chose to write this in the third person). he'd like to say that he's a twentysomething living in the hamptons with his three dogs, but he can only really say that he is indeed a twentysomething and living with his parents.

i don't know if there's anything else you need to know, and, frankly, i don't know if it's any of your goddamned business. okay, okay,  i graduated from drew university in madison, nj in 1999 with a degree in political science (like i'll ever put that to use), and i was also born and raised in new jersey. (please, no jokes. i've heard them all before anyhow.) my favorite author is salinger (no relation) and my favorite book is franny and zooey; my favorite bands are the beach boys (past) and the magnetic fields (present); my favorite tv show is the simpsons, though currently it's iron chef; my favorite movie is citizen kane (i'm never going to finish that blasted countdown); my hobbies include reading, writing, singing, drawing, and anything else artsy. i also obviously enjoy blogging. the answer to "why?" can be found in the archives.

- i learned to read at the age of 2.
- i have a 180 iq.
- i was offered to skip a grade (turned it down).
- i was a nerd, rather obviously, for the first ten years or so of my life. i was well-liked though.
- i'm bowlegged.
- i have big feet.
- i have an increasingly short attention span.
- i'm obsessive/compulsive.
- i have a type b personality.
- at times, i'm painfully shy, though i can be extremely outgoing.
- i don't drink or smoke.
- i have claustrophobia.
- i have motion sickness.
- i'm obviously big fun at bars or amusement parks.
- people often think that i'm gay.
- i had such a complex about my appearance that i went dateless until college.
- i have a cool scar next to my left eye.
- i have a way uncool scar on a bad spot on my head.
- i nearly died at a few months old when i contracted croup.
- i faced death again in a car crash and when i was hanging off a cliff.
- i have more cds than most people really need.
- i was rejected by my first three choices of colleges.
- i was supposed to go to law school, but i deferred and i have to remember to write them to let them know i'm not coming.
