Now, you might wonder how I know the date. Well, I actually extracted that picture from a large group shot of the Ship's Party of the USS Monticello, taken at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York, and the date can be read in the photo. The entire photo didn't fit in my scanner, but here's the part I scanned - Bob and Peggy are right up in front.
