Jhanzi Chowdary Nurse Of The Year Award

The Jhansi Chowdary Nurse Of The Year Award was established through the generosity of Dr. Raj Chowdary.  Dr. Chowdary decided to pay tribute to his wife Jhansi yearly by presenting the Nurse of the Year Award in her name.  In doing so a nurse will be chosen every year and offered this award and a gift in the amount of $500, in recognition of her/his service to Healing the Children’s International Program.

The nurses who volunteer for HTC’s International Medical Trip Program are among the finest.  Through the Jhansi Chowdary Award we honor their enthusiasm, dedication and skills while working alongside the doctors.  In addition to the medical care, they give comfort, support and encouragement to their small patients.  Their days are long, the work hard and yet they provide an untiring willingness to serve wherever needed.
