Salvation Army Serving Storm Refugees -- The Salvation Army is currently providing services to storm victims and first responders in the Gulf Coast states. A $100 donation to The Salvation Army will feed a family of four for two days, provide two cases of drinking water and one household clean-up kit, containing brooms, mops, buckets, and cleaning supplies. If you are physically able to donate blood, please pick up the phone and call today to schedule an appointment (or book one online) to donate blood. Please remember that blood is perishable and more donations will be needed in the weeks and months to come.

Numerous volunteers are involved in the rescue efforts at this very moment. Firefighters, EMTs, doctors, nurses, linemen, and others are volunteering their time and services in this time of need. Community service organizations throughout America are always in need of local volunteers. Contact your local fire department and/or rescue squad to become a volunteer member. Contact your local chapter of the American Red Cross, Salvation Army or United Way and offer to help. There are many additional ways for you to help out in your community.
