Okay, so it wasn't a pond per se, it was a "duckie" river known as the Musconetcong that still runs near my former hometown of Hackettstown, New Jersey.

Hackettstown is still home to some really "duckie" places like M&M/Mars and my Alma Mater, Centenary College.
