I really didn't know where to start but
While I was reading my e-mail one day
It was a response and it was real.
This is a feeling that may never go away.
I just keep working on letting go,
without letting loose.
I need for all people young and old
to understand that this disease can get us all.
Anytime...Anyage... Anyone...Rich or Poor

I am angry ...I am So Sad... I am Lonely..... I am scared...
         I am lost......I wasn't ready......... I wasn't prepared.......
I prayed that if my mother ever had to die
it would be in her sleep...
I lost one of my best friends.
Now I am angry, angry, angry....
but I will fight....I will learn.... I will be prepared
I wont go without a fight...
I feel like my mind is being taken little by little
 I will Yell...Scream....
and tell everyone I know...
Everyone I talk to.
      TO BE AWARE
this could happen to you too!!!!!!
  (((((((((((ALZHEIMER'S))))))))))))))
LETS TALK ABOUT IT
                      No it's not a STD....No it's not CANCER...No it's not FAIR!!!!!!

As I look into the face of a friend I once loved,

how can I be sure it's you.

God will let me know

For he will guide me through,

your touch hasn't changed

Have you?

Love will endure.....

I notice while visiting with my mother that a tender

kiss, a hug will make her feel calm, a sudden change takes place,

the look a fear or anguish diminishes and a smile appears on her face.

The touch of a loved one must be something that lasts

even while the memory of your face seems less clear.

As time goes on I realize that my mother is still aware of who I am.

Her ability to speak in complete sentences seems to be getting  worse.

Our conversations are less, but for some reason we are still communicating.

I love her and she loves me, that is one complete sentence she can still say.
