Physicians using Silicone Gel or other Gel Products
Dear Doctors,
It continues to come to our attention that there are companies trying to market Silicone gel or other tube based gel products for the treatment of Keloid and Hypertrophied scars. We also understand that to date none of these companies has any idea on the method of operation of their treatment and our tests have shown that when washed these products lose their limited ability to perform.
If you have not used the Morelle SOS treatment you can be assured that it can be cleaned without any deterioration in the effectiveness. If you are using gel products and are seeing little or no improvement, or conflicting results it could be due to washing and re-use of the gel sheet.
If you used to use gel and now use Morelle SOS could you spare some time and explain to a colleague the increase in effectiveness that you have found and the results you are seeing.
