Volunteer Service Hours
Swartswood State Park
JANUARY 1 TO DECEMBER 31

These Volunteer hours are for improving the quality of the water at
Swartswood lake. The Organizations involved are listed as follows
Swartswood Lake Association,
Emmon's Lane,
Lake Restoration,
Swartswood Yacht Club,
The Paradise Fishing Club,
Little Swartswood Lake
and Camp Henry Hover.



Here are some of the ways hours have been accumulated.


1: Aquatic weed control.
2: Shoreline clean up.
3: Individual weed removal.
4: Goose control.
5: Fish population monitoring.
6: Stocking fish.
7: Recording tagged fish by drop off boxes throughout the lake.
8: Maintenance and monitoring of lake aeration system.
9: Water quality monitoring of oxygen, temperature and clarity 
at different depth within 3 separate stations. This is completed ones a week from june though september. Except for stations NO.1. Additional sampling will be done once a month for composite of algae, also zooplankton and different levels for water quality, plus paper work.
10: Attending Seminars
11: Attending meetings throughout the year
12: Time spent om, Treasurer's Reports, Secretary's Reports, Volunteer's Hours Report, Agendas for Board and General Meetings, Phone Calls, New Letters, Fund Raisers or just helping    out and Traveling Time.
13: Aquatic weed grouth thoughout controlled areas
14: Clean up around the roads
15: Working along with Stillwater and Hampton Townships with regards to watershed for reduced pollution into the lakes.
16: Septic Management Education.
