The official Trespasser: Jurassic Park website has undergone a complete re-haul, now serving as a more promotional advertisement for the upcoming PC game. Right now there only is a kinda fun "InGen physiological test" which goes through various "requirements" for the game.

TLW received a nomination in MTV' prestigious Movie Awards in the "Best Action Sequence" category tonight for the "T-Rex Attacks San Diego" sequence. It faces some steep competition, with the "Speedboat chase" from "Face/Off", "Bugs attack fortress" from "Starship Troopers", "Motorcycle/helicopter chase" from "Tomorrow Never Dies", and, of course, "Ship Sinks" from "Titanic".
The Lost World: Jurassic Park received an Academy Award nomination this morning for "Best Special Effects", along with "Titanic" and "Starship Troopers".

New JP2 Goof: Look carefully in the trailer scene.. when Ian tries to kick out the door, he accidentally smashes Nick's hand with his foot. Looks like he did it really hard too, as Nick winces in pain and immediately pulls his hand away.
Other goofs: There were a few other goofs people sent me, unfortunatly, they're on my computer at home, not here at school. If you sent me one, please re-send it.
The Lost World Transcript, by the TLW Transcript Project, is done! Check it out!

Here's a little holiday present from our good friend Chris. He has encoded and uploaded the 7 minute Lost World "featurette" to his site, which is featured exclusively on the laser disc version of the TLW. Now you can download the 27 mb MOV file, or streaming RealVideo file. Thanks Chris!
Last year on my families annual Christmas morning movie trip I saw the 30-second preview for JP2, and the so-so movie, Jerry Maguire. This year, while there wasn't a preview for JP3, we did see an excellent movie -- Titanic. Frequent visitors to this page know that I've blasted Cameron and the movie for awhile, especially when I heard that this "summer movie", because of delays, would actually become a "winter movie". Well, anyway, I am eating my hat. The movie is simply amazing, and no doubt Cameron will be receiving a lot of Oscars for it. This is the first movie in awhile that I actually cared about the characters -- the acting, cinematography, and direction is excellent. And of course, there is all those special effects which are pretty good too. The final hour or so when the boat starts to sink is probably one of the most moving and entertaining pieces of filmmaking ever, and I've seen a lot of movies. My mouth was hanging open the whole time. Anyway, not to take up any more space, let me just tell everyone to take three hours out of your day and see this movie.
I like the festive background, so I don't think I'm going to take it down for awhile. :) Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It's really hard to believe that it's been a whole year since I dreamt up and wrote this page on a lazy weekend in December. But, 160,000+ hits and 365 days later, here we are! First off, I'd like to once again thank everyone out there in Internet-land who have visited this page, and an extra-special thanks to those of you who have participated in some way, either by sending in TLW news, or by chatting in the chat room or posting on the message board. Sometimes I look at this page and am just amazed -- I now realize, when I didn't before, the full power and potential of these "virtual communities" on the Internet. Not to sound like Bill Gates, but this is just the beginning, and in the future, who knows what the Internet will be like. Well, let me just say thanks again, and wish everyone a very Happy Hanukkah and a early Merry Christmas. The "TLW Transcript Project" is near completion, and should be done by the end of the week. Now for some news:
Check out some pictures from the Gameboy TLW Game by THQ, which should be in stores right now. (thanks to Utahraptor). (I think these pics were taken on the "Super Gameboy", that why they're in color.)

Believe it or not, there is more TLW merchandise news, thanks to DinoTrack.
