St Patricks Cathedral is located on 50th St and 5th Ave. The cathedral is the largest Catholic Cathedral in the US. Construction started 120 years ago, at a cost of $2 million and was dedicated on May 25, 1879. The seating capacity is 2,500 the pipe organ has more than 7,300 pipes. The rose stained glass window are 26 feet across. This is a must see when visiting the city. |
